SpyShelter Free: Protect Yourself from Keyloggers

A common trend in the new generation of malware is that they try to steal your financial information like credit cards, bank account login etc. Zeus, Dexter and SpyEye are examples of such malware. They capture your financial information using keylogging and screen capture methods. They record your keystrokes when you enter your login credentials into your bank’s website and then send it to cybercriminals’ server. You can protect yourself from such keyloggers by using free SpyShelter software. It is a freeware Windows application that blocks keyloggers, screen captures, webcam captures and sound recordings by unauthenticated programs.

You can download it from the SpyShelter website. The download is around 6 megabytes in size. After installation, you can start using it right away but a reboot is recommended so that it can scan for keyloggers that start with Windows. It places an icon in the notification area of Windows, clicking on which you can open the SpyShelter window to adjust its settings.
