10AppsManager Helps Remove Windows 10 Preinstalled Apps

Windows 10 comes with many pre-installed apps like Weather, Music, News, Health, Photos etc. It also comes with nagging “Get” apps like Get Office, Get Skype, Get Started and more. While you can easily install and uninstall apps from Windows Store, these pre-installed apps are a little harder to remove. If you want to be able to remove the apps much more easily, then you can use the free 10AppsManager application. This program shows you a list of all the installed Modern apps in your Windows 10 PC and allows you to remove any or all of them easily with just  as single click.

The 10AppsManager program does not need to be installed. You can just extract the contents of the downloaded ZIP archive and then launch 10AppsManager.exe from there. The program tells you to create a system restore point before you take any action like removal of the apps. This is a safety precaution to avoid unwanted situations, for example, accidental removal of some of the apps that you did not want to remove.

In order to create System Restore points, you can launch rstrui.exe from Start Menu → Run. After creating a system restore point, you can switch back to 10AppsManager and click on any of the app’s icon that you want to remove. If you want to remove all of the modern apps at once in one go, then you can click on the Remove All button. But care must be taken as this will remove all the modern apps – even the apps like Camera and Calculator which could be useful at times.

10AppsManager does not burn the boat, but allows you to reinstall the apps if you want to get all the removed apps once again. For reinstalling the apps, you can click on the Reinstall button at the bottom. This will reinstall all of the apps that you had removed using the 10AppsManager.
