As you select a video DVD in DVD Shrink, it will scan that DVD for video and audio streams. The scanning of the entire DVD will take only a few seconds. It works with both DVD 5 and DVD 9 formats. Once the scanning is over, you will be able to see the video and audio streams in a list.

You can choose one or more of the video and audio tracks for the processing. Then you can click on the Backup button in the toolbar to start the backup process. This will show a new window from where you can choose the backup folder, video quality, video & audio compression setting etc.
