Epic Games Store is now giving away another game called “Alan Wake”. Released in 2012, this game is considered a psychological horror thriller. It is available for Xbox and Windows PC only. The game takes you into a dark world of shadows and suspense. It gives you the same delight as you would get from watching a really good thriller movie like Eyes Wide Shut (1999).
The real power of this thriller game is its really good background story. In this game, you are going to play Alan Wake, a famous and successful novelist. For finishing his latest novel, he travels to a town named Bright Falls. This is where his wife disappears before his eyes as a mysterious force drags her into a lake.
The rest of the game is about Alan Wake trying to unravel the mystery of the town and trying to find his wife. During his quest, he has to deal with some “taken” creatures that are influenced by darkness and try to attack him with weapons of all kind. He has to make use of light sources of all types in order to weaken the power of darkness before he can defeat these “taken” creatures.
The game does not have an special system requirements. It will run fairly well on any average computer with a decent graphics card, 2GB of RAM and a basic dual-core CPU. Of course, if you have a powerful gaming rig then you will feel the game running much more smoothly.
