Released in 2012, this psychological horror game is a third person shooter. If you are a big fan of Supernatural TV show, then you are perhaps going to fall in love with it. In this game, you have to fight with a large number of evil creatures that are ready to tear you into pieces. You do have a big stock of arsenal but you have to very wise in picking the right ammo.
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is actually a spin-off of another game titled Alan Wake that was released earlier in 2010. In this game, you have to fight with the darkness and the creatures of the darkness since the darkness has taken over all the living creatures – both people and human beings. Taken by darkness these dark creatures attack you and can be killed just by bright light. You can use flashlight, flare guns or searchlights to destroy hordes of taken creatures.
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare starts right after where Alan Wake ends. In this game, you have to fight with your own darkness – another Alan taken by darkness named Mr. Scratch. Unless you destroy Mr. Scratch you won’t be able to go back to your normal life in the story mode of the game. But if you don’t care for the story progression, then you can jump into the arcade mode and fight with the dark creatures to your heart’s content.
