XnResize is a powerful image resizing and conversion tool for Windows. Using this portable application, you can compress the image files, shrink or enlarge the image size, and convert them to different image formats. It works in the batch mode and helps you perform all these image operations to multiple files or even folders in seconds.

XnResize works with a wizard like user interface. There are three steps and at the end you will have all of your images properly resized and converted. In the first step, you have to add all the images that you want to work with. You can add images or even whole folders containing the images.
In the second step, you have to define the actions that are to be taken. You can choose to resize the images by choosing one of the presets or by manually entering the width and the height of the image. You can also rotate the image by 90 degrees clockwise or anti-clockwise.
Finally in the third step, you can choose the output folder, file naming rules, image file format for the conversion, whether you want to preserve the metadata and other information. Clicking on the Convert button, you can proceed to the final process that resizes, rotates and converts the images.
XnResize supports many image formats such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF, WEBP, PSD, JPEG2000, OpenEXR, camera RAW, HEIC, PDF, DNG, and CR2. It is able to recognize and preserver metadata such as EXIF, IPTC, and XMP. When we tried to convert JPEG images to HEIC, it could not perform the conversion and created 0 byte HEIC files. Perhaps these bugs will be removed in the future versions.
