Weekly giveaways have become a regular thing at Epic Games store. This week they are giving away two games, one of which is God’s Trigger. It is a top-down action game designed in the same fashion as GTA 2 which was also a top-down game.
In God’s Trigger, you play either as a demon Judy who has freshly graduated from the high school of Hell or you play as Harry who was dropped from the Heaven. Both have their strengths and weaknesses, but the player can switch between the two during the gameplay in the solo mode for the maximum fun. In the multi-player mode, you can choose one of these characters while your friend can play another.
So what is the ultimate goal in this game? The angel and demon duo are working together to battle their way into the heaven. They want to stop the apocalypse from happening. It may remind you of the sci-fi TV series Supernatural where Sam and Dean often fight their way into the heaven or hell and save the world from one thing or another.
Overall, the gameplay is very fast paced and you have to fight through your enemies really fast. I don’t think you can play using your keyboard or mouse, you definitely need a good game controller for this game. Fortunately, you have a selection of a number of weapons in this game for quickly finishing the missions.
This game does not demand very high-end gaming hardware. You can easily play this game on your average notebook computer running on intel Core i5 processor with 4GB RAM. However, you will have a much smoother gameplay with better hardware specs.
