How to Make XnView MP Auto-Purge Recent Files List

XnView MP is one of the best image viewer applications available today. It works on all the popular platforms including Windows, Linux and macOS.   1. Launch XnView MP from its desktop shortcut.

  4. Under the Recent Files category, check the box labeled Purge Recent Files and Folders on exit.

After making these changes, XnView MP will remove all the traces  of recently open files list as soon as you close the XnView MP window. This keeps XnView MP neat and clean however, you will lose the convenience of opening of the same image files again at the click of a button. You can also click on the Purge now button in the settings window to remove all the files in the recent files list instantly.
