Epic Games store is once again giving away another game. This time they are giving away a game based on a very popular horror movie “Evil Dead”. The original movie was released in 1981 and many sequels were made later. Then a modern remake of the original 1981 movie was made in 2013. This game “Evil Dead: The Game” is based on this 1981 movie and its sequels. For each of the sequels and the 2013 movie based game, you have to buy extra add-ons.
The background story of the game is same as that of the movie. You drive far away from the city in order to have a good time with your friends. You arrive at a remotely located cabin that has been abandoned for many years. By accident, you discover an audio tape player/recorder along with a creepy looking book. As you play the audio tape, you awaken the evil dead. The rest of the game is about fighting with the evil menace that surrounds you.
In this game, you can play as any of the main characters from the movie. The most famous of these character is obviously Ash Williams (played by Bruce Campbell in the Evil Dead released in 1981). But you can also play other characters such as Scotty or Kelly. The game gives you option to play both as evil or good. You can fight against the evil or you can as the demon and fight with everyone else.
Evil Dead game can challenge your sanity levels as you will often find yourself struggling against the evil forces in the darkness while very eerie voices can be heard from all the different directions.
