This week Epic Games store is giving away an Alien style game called “Duskers” in which you get to look through a number of spaceships that were left behind because of many reasons. Whether these spaceships stopped working or they were abandoned out of fear, it is all up to you to decide.
Duskers is a game in which you get to explore the abandoned spaceships in the deep space. You use a battery of remote controlled (RC) drones to explore these spaceships, find some items to scavenge and survive. The theme of this game will remind you of many other games specially in the Aliens series. If you have been a big fan of the Aliens and Stargate series of TV shows and movies, then you are definitely going to love it.
In this Indie game, you are going to explore the spaceships through a number of drones. These drones are your only contact with the outside world. What these drones observer through their cameras, is all you can see. What these drones capture through their microphones is all you can hear. If you are not maneuvering the drones in an area where something is happening, you won’t be able to hear what happened there.
The spaceships in this game are procedurally generated which means you can never repeat the same type of ship twice. The game looks new, each time you play it. You are going to find many creepy creatures lurking around the corners when you are exploring the ship. If you find some useful parts, then you can use them to upgrade your drones or repair any drones.
Another thing that the PC gamer is going to have to do is find the ship logs. Then you have to deduce the cause of why these ships were abandoned and met their unfortunate fate.
