With everyone having a 50 megapixel camera these days, the average file sizes of the snapped pictures have dramatically increased. Only a few years ago 3-4 MB was the common size of high-resolution images, but now it has crossed 15-16 MB limit. Of course the details and resolution has also gone up, but not many people want such large file sizes. This is because they fill up the memory devices faster and it is not easy to send or receive large files.
Fortunately, the solution is very easy – compress the images to reduce their size. There is a Windows app called Emjysoft Photo Reducer which is able to reduce the image file size belonging to many different file formats. It works with image file formats such as JPG, PNG, BMP, PSD and even PDF (because it contains JPEG images).
Photo Reducer is very easy to use and works in just three steps. In the first step, you have to choose a file reduction rate which defines how much reduction is done. It can reduce the image file ideal for emailing, for printing, for digital frame, for web, for display on HD television and more.
In the second step, we have to select the image files, sizes of which are to be reduced. The program offers many ways to select the image files – we can drag-n-drop the files or we can select them using the browse files method.
