What we call junk is actually something that is not needed on a Windows system and is only consuming the system resources unnecessarily. Junk comes in many shapes and sizes. It can be a pile of files left behind by a previously uninstalled software. It could be the undesired bloatware that comes pre-installed on your Windows 11 PC. It could be one of the programs that got installed on your PC through another app.
As far as junk apps are concerned on a Windows 11 PC, Junkctrl can help you get rid of it. It can help you make your Windows 11 PC junk free, clean and working like a well oiled machine. It uses many methods for finding the junk or scam apps on your system.
In the user interface of Junkctrl, we can see a number of options on the left side of the window. We can select these and add them to the list to be scanned. These scan options include built-in community scan for junk apps, built-in private scan for junk apps. There are some plugins which can also be selected. These plugins include HP bloatware, Microsoft apps only, Onedrive app, scam apps and unnecessary apps.
After adding all the options, you have to click on the “New Search” button on the top. It will scan your Windows 11 PC to find the apps that are not known for doing any good. Some of these apps are scam apps, some of them have bad reputation and others are just bloatware. If it does not find any of these apps, then you will see the message “Your system is free of junk”.
