So many times we need a software to keep running on our Windows PC. We leave it running to attend to some other tasks and when we come back, we find that it has stopped running. This could happen due to a number of reasons. For example, the program could have crashed, it could have gone to sleep, it could have become unresponsive, or it could have been terminated by some other software. This is clearly undesirable for the users who wanted to make it run for as long as they wished.
To avoid such unpleasant situations and prevent any program from shutting down prematurely, we can use Vovsoft Keep Software Alive. It is a portable program that monitors all the applications that the user has added in its list. When any of these monitored programs close, it relaunches them without wasting any time.
In the user interface of Vovsoft Keep Software Alive, we have to add at least one programs to be monitored. We can add the programs easily by clicking on the Select buttons under the Add section. It will show you a list of all the processes running and you can pick from there too. After this, you have to click on the Insert to List button. You can add as many programs to the list as you want.
Once a program has been added, it starts checking that program’s status every 60 seconds. You can change this frequency for checking the status to any time duration you want. You can also manually check the status by clicking on the Check Now button. If the program is found unresponsive then it is relaunched.
Under the options for this software, you can enable or disable the feature for automatically checking the status of the programs in the list. There are also options to toggle the restarting of the unresponsive programs.
