Inkjet printers are cheaper compared to the laserjet ones, but the replacement cartridges are not so cheap. Sometimes the printer cost is same as the replacement ink cartridge cost. For example, my Canon PIXMA printer came in about $100, but the cartridges together cost about the same amount. Sometimes I wonder why not buy a new printer instead of cartridges.
