Disable Aero in Windows Vista

Windows Vista comes with modern Aero interface, but it can put extra load on your computer’s memory. If you want to disable Aero in Windows Vista then you can do so. Here is how :

1. Right click anywhere on your Desktop and select Properties.
2. Click on the Windows Color and Appearance link as shown,

   

3. Click on the Open classic appearance properties link as shown,

   

4. Select Windows Vista Basic color scheme from the list,

   

5. Click OK to save the settings.
