Google+ has started to charm the world with its new and unique features. One of the features of Google+ is the +1 button. Clicking on +1 button under a message, comment or shared picture or article means that you like it. By default, Google uses this +1 button likes of your Google+ profile to personalize non-Google sites. This means that you may see advertisements and other content on different sites depending on what items you liked (clicked +1 for) in your Google+ profile.

Google+ is slowly adding all the useful features to fully compete with Facebook. Now you can receive your Google+ huddle conversations and stream messages on your cellphone through SMS (short messaging service). All you have to do is add your cellphone number to your Google+ profile and you would start receiving text messages immediately after verification. At present this SMS service seems to be available only for India and United States but is expected soon to include more countries.

Google+ is out and people have jumped on to this new social networking service to use it. But like it happens with everything else, some people are not going to like Google+. If you think that Google+ is not your thing, then you can disable and delete your Google+ profile in your Google account. By deleting your Google+ profile your Google+ service and linked profile shall be removed. Doing this will not affect your Google account in any other way.

Google+ has arrived, is in full swing and people are loving it. But there are still things that people coming from Facebook desire in Google+. For one, Google+ does not offer vanity URLs like Facebook. A vanity URL is a short URL to your profile which is easy to remember and share, in contrast to a URL with twenty one character long profile ID. Recently Facebook has started a new Video Calling feature to its huge battery of features. The feature will be powered by the Internet phone service Skype.
